Our custom-built Horizontal Drilling Machines
Horizontal directional drilling technology (also known as HDD) is often the most effective solution for installing railway utilities. When it is necessary to intervene underground in an urban context, it is essential to cause as little impediment as possible.
The installation is often carried out in inhabited areas characterized by traffic of vehicles and people, where the idea of opening an open excavation is now inconceivable.
The answer to traditional excavation is the laying of subway services with horizontal directional drilling, also called “no-dig”. This technology allows cables to be laid using a system of remotely controlled rods that drill into the subsoil, creating the necessary space for placement.
